The Standard General English and IELTS Course take place all year round, from Monday to Friday. Morning lessons follow the same programme as the Standard Course. There are three afternoons a week of IELTS preparation lessons.

This course focuses on improving students’ English, as well as on developing their exam techniques. At the end of each week, students will be given a progress test.

The course is right for you if:

• Your level is between Intermediate (B1) and Advanced (C2)
• You want to enter one of the Irish or English universities.
• You want to pass IELTS

If you wish you can choose and book to stay in a host family (in single room) during your course in CES Oxford.

All CES homestays are carefully selected and regularly visited by our Accommodation Officers, to ensure consistently high standards. All CES homestays are located close to our schools or public transport links.

*Students who require a special diet, such as a gluten/coeliac or lactose free diet, will be charged a supplement of £15 per week.
